The coast is long with numerous bays, cozy beaches and islands and picturesque harbors and communities. You’ll nevertheless go out at sea quickly and see Limestone islands pass by the way. Croatia is a wonderful place to sail in – where you love sailing and boating. There are 1185 islands to sail to, so there is a lot to discover.

We depart from Marina Kastela with 10 mins proximity to Split Airport and which is one of a dream harbor for those who rent a boat in Croatia. The ports here are among several interesting sailing areas, at a short distance to Primosten, which is one of the favourite sailors.

WEATHER AND WIND

There is a Mediterranean climate with warm sunny summers with only temporary thunderstorms. July and August, temperatures may reach 40˚ C, while June and September and October are comfortable for a Scandinavian. Boran and Sciroccon are the most distinctive winds in the Adriatic, and it blows more mainly from October to April.

During the season the wind is light to medium and the breeze may get well in the afternoon depending on wind directions.
